Archery Workshops 

Imagine stepping out into the wilderness with nothing but your bow and your skills as an archer, with the intention of providing food for your family or community. Only a few hundred years ago, that was the reality for almost every small community worldwide.

We’ve come a long way in a very short time, but some skills should never be forgotten, and archery is one of those skills. At The Greenwoode Village, thanks to experienced instructors, you’ll get hands-on experience learning the correct way to shoot a bow and arrows.

Not only will you learn how to shoot a bow, but we also offer workshops on arrow fletching and bow making, which will give you the opportunity to craft your own arrows and fletch them, along with all the skills needed to create your own bow.

Textile Workshops

We live in a world now where if we need a new pair of pants or a top, we just go down to the local mall and pick out what we want or simply order it online. However, less than a century ago, a large percentage of the country still made its own clothes.

Creating textiles is a long but rewarding process. From weaving and creating cloth and yarn, all the way to the final process of cutting material and stitching or weaving clothes together.

At The Greenwoode Village, you’ll be able to experience our textile experts weaving raw fleece into yarn, ready to make various traditional clothing items, and even participate in hands-on textile classes and workshops.

Pottery Workshops

Seeing wet lumps of clay being molded from that raw material into a beautifully finished final product is one of the most rewarding activities you’ll ever participate in. Not only is pottery a lot of fun, but it’s also the perfect way to unwind at the end of a long and stressful day.

At The Greenwoode Village, you’ll be able to watch and learn from one of our experienced artisans as they shape and mold clay into beautiful, timeless pottery pieces.
